Abstract

The response of maternal circulating eosinophiles to stress during delivery
1. Remarkable diminution in number of the eosinophiles in the maternal circulating blood seemed to be brought by so called stress during delivery. The time of maximum decrease was 3 to 4 hours of ter delivery.
2. The stress during delivery seemed to induce more pronounced decrease of the eosinophiles in the maternal circulating blood in primipara than in multipara.
